Your heart needs attention, care, rest and rejuvenation.

Create a sanctuary for your heart in mind, body and your surroundings - a direct reflection of your inner world.

Begin in your bedroom, the place closest to you where you spend 1/3 of your life. Prepare your space as you might for a precious loved one or distinguished guest.

You are the honored guest in your sanctuary.

Surround yourself with things you love and that brings you joy. Pay attention. Remove anything that reminds you of heartache.

Place your bed in the command position, farthest from the door but not in line with the door and against a solid wall. This will give you the most expansive view of the room and sense of security while you sleep knowing you are in the best position to respond to anything that might approach you.

Your heart will rest in ease.

Remove all electronics with their EMFs (Electro Magnetic Frequencies) bombarding your space and keeping you from restorative sleep.  Let the last light you see before you go to bed be a glimmering candle or the soft ambiance from a salt lamp rather than electronic screens that confuse your brain into thinking it’s day rather than night.

Bring in fresh roses or orchids for their beauty, fragrance and vitality.

Read poetry or inspirational books that encourage sweet nurturing dreams. Remove excess books and all their chatter limiting your stack of books at bedside to 3.

Make peace with your heart before you go to sleep for any ways you have compromised, neglected or sacrificed her. Say the Ho'oponopono Prayer.  Dear Heart,

“I love you. I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.”

Go to sleep in beauty, wake up in beauty. Serene, beautiful surroundings reflective of you, will assist you in getting a rejuvenating night's sleep and shape your outlook tomorrow. What you see and think when you awake will set the tone for the day. Will it be yesterday’s overwhelm or today’s bliss? Begin your day with a practice of honoring and loving your heart. Promise to protect and care for her all day.

Connect to your heart and be her Valentine.

Then watch your world e x p a n d  in love as your heart feels happy, healthy, respected and loved.

Another cannot make yourself whole. You do that. Nurture your heart to her full flourishing. Be your own Valentine.
