Jump the Slump

Everyone gets in a slump now and then.
We’ve all been there. Have plenty to do but no motivation to do it. The desk piles up. Self-imposed deadlines pass. Your energy is low, and you’re just not getting anything done.
To get your mojo moving:
Change it up.
Do the opposite of your regular routine. If you have a regular walking or driving route, begin in the opposite direction. If you shower in the evening, shower in the morning (or vice versa)!
Make a 3 item to-do list.
Keep it simple. It may or may not be related to your task at hand. Check them off when completed. The first item on your list. Make your bed.
Get out in nature.
Take a walk in the park, a botanical garden. Go for a hike in the woods or mountain trail. Enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.
Gift yourself an artist day.
Go to a gallery, museum, or artsy boutique. Treat yourself to lunch at a hip new restaurant. Feast your senses!
Move your body; still your mind.
Do a yoga class, dance to music, listen to a guided meditation, sit in silence. Mmmmm
Self-care and Self-love are priorities.
Be kind to yourself. Allow yourself to take a pause and refresh. Love yourself!
