Lunar New Year Ceremonies
The Lunar New Year is a day of celebration heralding auspicious new beginnings in the New Year. As a BTB Feng Shui specialist, I practice New Year rituals with reverence and trust in their powerful alchemy. The Yu Wai is a powerful clearing and blessing ceremony acknowledging and feeding the Hungry Ghosts and lower frequencies we want to release from our homes. Hungry Ghosts, or Ling particles, are departed souls who may have had a history with your house or property or were attracted there and are lingering, trapped between realms. We acknowledge and feed them, and when they are satiated, invite them to travel safely to the next realm.
Our homes also hold lower frequencies from patterns of behavior and false beliefs that create strong imprints. These ways of being may have once been useful for survival in the past but no longer serve. Some imprints may belong to people who formerly lived there called predecessor ch’i. We feed them and thank them for their purpose in the past then invite them to transmute to LIght and release them to make space for new possibilities. Cleared, we plant new seeds of intentions to welcome new beginnings visualizing and activating them with emotional charge.
After completing the Yu Wai today, my home feels clean and light! I feel lighter identifying and shedding outdated patterns I’ve been carrying to my detriment, declaring my intentions, and trusting they will manifest now that there is room for them! This powerful ceremony creates space to step into a new year with a cleared home and heart, with decisive clarity of what I wish to manifest in the New Year. Om Mani Padme Hum. Wishing you transformation and new growth this New Year of the Wood Snake.
